Do you know the diameter of your ICONs? The Fox's I have are 2.5, not 2 so if the ICONs were 2's then it wont work. . .

I'll have to look but I'm 99% sure they are 3in inside diameter. I just had new Eibach 700lb coils put on.

    Edit: confirmed 3in inside diameter.

Do you know what brand they are? How long did you have them on your truck (and how many offroad trips haha), and how much + shipping to 98597 (WA)?

The difference between non extended and extended is there is an internal machined spacer placed on the shaft that stops the shock from extending by 3/4". That spacer is there to prevent stock uca ball joints from overextending, that's all. Funny that they call the extended ones extended at all because it's technically incorrect. Haha the DSC is just somethimg cool to have. Why it's taken so long for an off-road shock company to produce it, idk. If you've ever had coilovers on a car, you know they come with adjustable knobs that restrict or open up oil flow making the ride softer or stiffer. Same concept here. Def nice to have, especially on a street driven truck where you can turn a stiff off-road ride into a cushy on road ride. Why would you not want the power to do that with a twist of a knob? Haha you want #700 springs. With a v6, steel bumper, winch and skids, those will hold the weight. For reference, I have #650s and im probably #300 lighter in the front.

bro! front suppose to be lifted more. fox knows. :cookiemonster:

actually, according to my notes from last year, there is (or was) a Fox 2.5 with length 15.6 collapsed / 25 ext which should be ok for 3" lift.

For comparison, the OME shocks designed for Dakkar pack are 13.8/23.9 inch.

Icon. Roughly 45k. Maybe 5 off road trips on them. I'll have to look at shipping.

Seems counter intuitive, now I remember hearing this before though.. SO, I want factory series, not extended, 0-3" lift 2.5 with DSC with 700# coils. Right?
Mine!! May try 650# first. Not sure but 700# seems like it would be too much??? I don't know HAhah trying to err on the side of "not too stiff", have 1/2" top plate spacers i can throw in there

I have similar weight to you in the front (bumper and skid). I wish I had gone to the 700lb coils sooner and I don't even have a winch in there yet. My point was you could go with 700lb and we have 650s for you if feel like they are too stiff.

    Not for that shit.
pre-millenial. Those of us from like 84 to 88 are called pre-millenials.... meaning, we still know what it's like to have to work for shit, we remember having to be the tv remote, we grew up playing outside, we still remember a time before smart phones and social media, and we still have common sense.
