Looking to get aftermarket tail lights. My biddy has them on his Tundra, but not sure what kind it is. Please post what you have on your truck.

Yeah so i have the Winjet tails. Looks really nice but the process to get them to work was, lets just say more than anticipated. I would still recommend them because, IMO looks really good.

Been eyeing these exact ones and I want to know why you had issues/what they were! Also how is the fit and finish compared to stock?

Do any of these have stronger than OEM mounting tabs? That would be enough reason to buy for me.

So this is the run down.
1.) When I first got them they sent me 2 passenger sides. Honestly wasn't a big deal just had to wait for the driver. Customer service was great.
2.) When I got the driver side it was slightly cracked at one corner. Asked them about it and helped me with a replacement. The real kicker is when after a product is a plug and play, these tail lights can connect 2 ways if that makes sense. So the connectors can be plugged in 2 ways not just 1. Went to start the truck and it didn't start. Rear left side had no lights.
3.) Gave me a BRAKE OVERRIDE MALFUNCTION code and CEL. Had to post a help thread to help with what happened and turned out there was 2 fuses(rear tail and STOP) that burnt out. New fuses in and it started but now my infotainment screen was not working nor the rear lights. Made an appointment with Toyota and costed me labor to put a fuse that was supposed to be there cause the infotainment apparently has 2 and from factory there was only one. They couldn't justify to Toyota to cover the charge because since everything has been working fine from factory.
4.) Winjet finally sent me the instructions to install, I made sure the connectors were straight and that certain colored wires matched up. Everything works great now as you can see.
5.) Honestly with all these hiccups that happened along the way to get to the final result, I still love the look. You have no idea how many people love them and commented about them. It was just one of those mods that you try to commit and just kinda pushed through whether personally you made a mistake, the company or both. The end result will speak for itself in the end IMO. Hopes this helps!

looks really nice, the whole treatment you did. I'll keep my Pro tails but from your pic i am considering derping the bumper. that's a nice look.

I bought the above Winjet ones off Tacomabeast and the drivers side light harness was defective. There was a missing contact wire for the turn signal. Quality control not so great for damn near $400; waiting to hear back to see their solution.

I really like these. How much and where do I get them? Are they difficult to install?

How you like them so far?

No, they don't come with the reverse bulb. They suggest using the one from the old lights. That's what I did and it works great! I've only had them on for a day, but they are bad ass!

Guess I'll chime in with my experience with Winjet. I had a pair of the Winjet taillights. Functionally, I love them. Only problem I had was that they made FM radio mostly unlistenable because of static. To Winjet's credit they have been working with me to figure out what the problem is and have been very responsive. I tried a solution that I've used on other LED lights, but it had no effect. I have a replacement set on the way from the vendor. I'm hoping they work better because just adding LED bulbs to the OEM lights brings another set of problems. It's not been fun.
