    Hello,

Newbie here, just purchased my Tacoma last Monday from Toyota of Tampa Bay. I have a close friend there that gave me good deal. If anyone is interested I would be more than happy to give you his info. Anyway, here is my Taco if anyone has suggestions on a few mods. Already put LED's in the interior and put the Tacoma inserts on the tailgate. Looking to get HID's for Low Beams and Fogs, Tonneau Cover, Bed Extender, Bull Bar and Nerf bars next so if anyone has any suggestions dont hesitate to throw them my way. I am located in the Brandon area.

 Welcome to the party. Good lookin' Taco. Only suggestions I have for now would be to get rid of that pin stripe and black out all the chrome stuff. And maybe check out the mesh grille insert referenced here. Everything else really depends on what you plan to do with it. Is it a pavement princess? Or is there a chance you might want to hit the trails with us? Prerunner or 4WD?

It will mostly be a "pavement princess" but I would consider going on a trail or two. It is an SR5 2WD if that answers your question.

Nothing wrong with that. @JD'STaco can probably give you some ideas on stuff to do with it. He's got a sharp looking truck with a very nice suspension setup. As far as hitting the trails, if there's a chance that might be something you would be interested in, like I said to @lelizabeth88 earlier, I would recommend going with rock sliders over nerf/step bars to protect your rockers. They probably won't be in a whole heap of danger with a 2WD, but the step bars would be at risk since they hang down so far, and I'd be too lazy to take them off for just for a trail ride.

Also, just FYI for you and Lauren, we have the Fall Camp & Ride Meet coming up in October (October 20-22) at the Citrus WMA near Inverness and you'd both be welcome. We have a few 2wds coming out (even a five lugger)...not as many as we used to; I think they keep getting bit by the wheelin' bug and going to 4wds, haha.

Information on that can be found here...

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/fall-camp-ride-oct-20-22-2017.440269/

Also, you both should subscribe to this thread to keep informed on other meets. We have the occasional Show & Shine lunch meets and I think there's a beach meet coming up in New Smyrna at the end of the month.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/florida-upcoming-meets-ongoing-list.382523/

If you are looking for ideas on what to do with your truck, the Show & Shine meets are good places to get inspired.

Okay, I'm so very doomed. There's a mirror hanging in our spare bedroom. Been there for years without issue. A few minutes ago, for absolutely no reason at all, it just fell off the wall and shattered into a bazillion pieces. there was nobody in the room and the ceiling fan was off. It just inexplicably fell after being up there for years. It's freakin' creepy...and 7 years bad luck. I'm screwed. :bananadead:
