A friend is rebuilding 001 right now. Very cool progress on the truck and very trick suspension PPI did in the early 80's.

Sucess...cuz I am just gonna order it all online where its $100 cheaper.

also, althought I know it is blasphemy here, got a Yeti cooler. Yeti 75 scored for $275 bucks. Wasn't first or second choice but hell I'll take it.

Non- truck, Electrical Question. Scientist just told me that for our Euro lab we just need to change the fuse and cord on our Shaker (that also has heating element in it), given I don't know if it has a transformer this seems highly wrong to me. Circuits designed for 110v would not like 220v plus the hertz (think that is frequency of AC swapping) is also different.

Anyone in the know if this is really an issue or just one to finance people like me... so I should just restrict myself to bean counting :D

Bought a new Coleman cooler and the fucking drain plug seal leaks. Thinking about taking it up the arse and just buying one of this EAF coolers.

I was thinking food safe silicone sealant, but then I keep thinking: why the fuck do I have to fix a brand new defective $120 cooler?

I second this! return and try another one. pretty much every retail place lets you return as long as you have recite. idk how many people I have seen buy yeti's or any brand for a weekend and return them the next week after using it, when I worked at cabalas. than you see them in the bargain cave for 20% off :bananadead::frusty:

I bought it off Amazon and am in the returns process.

I like this cooler because it's much lighter than the Yetis et al. And seems as though it would retain ice/coldness well if all the water wasn't constantly draining out.

If you don't have a receipt buy a new one and keep that receipt to return the first one on.

I read this was a problem with those and those Ozark Trail ones. Remedy was a guy put in a difference o-ring seal on it. Not sure if yours is set up the same but I would just return it.

I know...but 1st EAT point has to count for something right? I mean it is impressive considering I don't even have a toyota.
