Hydrogen Conversion LEGIT??

I have heard of these working what do you guys think.

imo....good idea in theory, but looks like a pain in the ass. i'm sure installing that will void any toyota warranty. it also says you have to take it easy while driving...ie no quick starts, so i dont know how effectively you would be able to tow something. with stuff like this i always hafta wonder...if its so great and works so well, why doesnt toyota just make it and sell it as an option?

A buddy of mine seems to think it would work, but not for the reason people think or hear about. It's not the hydrogen helping burn, but rather the same effect racers get from water injection.

Only this time the water is injected as either steam (since it gets very hot) or H and O separately (from the device splitting water) and combining into water in the engine. I know water injection works, but it's a delicate balance as too much shuts down the engine. Using something like this to split the water before injecting it might make the amount fine enough to produce benefits. Anyway, his dad has it on his truck, and he's going to try it on his Corolla. If he gets it to work, I might let him do it to mine to see what it does. But I'm not holding my breath either.

there was an inventor back in 80's I think that had a VW sandrail that ran only on water... he has numerous patents out on his design and then he went on the news and showed his invention...he was found shot like 3 days later....so i think it must have worked....

 

I heard about another guy doing something similar. Supposedly Arabs had approached him offering to buy/pay to keep it quiet. He refused and was found poisoned shortly thereafter.

As for this device, it's not a hydrogen conversion device. According to the site, it's pumping "hydrogen and oxygen gas" into your system. As PiercedTiger observed, that's just steam (H2O gas). As for it's other declared benefits, many of those points are answered on the site above. It also recommends to only use it when at 55-60 mph. Since it has an ammeter on it, I suspect it's just boiling water. I'd stay away from it just because they're being purposely obscure about what's happening.
