I have not tried yet. It has been posted for a week at $350. Sometimes people get impatient after something that big is listed for sale, taking up space, then just want it gone. I gotta hope he is in the resentment stage of ownership. Tomorrow is payday, so I will try then.

Well I didn't score a new grill on clearance from Walmart like some of you but I did just pick this bad boy up for $20 off of craigslist. Not pictured is the weber brand cover and 4 piece utensil set.

mats, flaps, and stickers. Extang solid fold 2.0. Mobtown sliders and full skids. AVS vents
I just picked up a used 18" wsm and did a burn with it Sunday. I put half a load of charcoal in the basket, and spread a 1/4 chimney over it, and added some chunks of cherry and apple, and left over chips from a bag of hickory chunks. I started it around 10:30 am. That thing chugged along for hours at 230-240. I figure anything bad would be dead by then, so I threw a 3-4 lb pork loin on it. That took about 2-3 hours. We ate, chilled, and at about 9:30pm, I finally shut the vents down, and went to bed. So it ran for about 11 hours on a half load of charcoal at 230-240. When I got home Monday, I cleaned it out, and found it had only used a little more than half the charcoal I put in. I'm impressed with it so far.

Pretty Merican sentence right there. " I went to Wally World to buy a Grill, but instead walked out with a shotgun"

I'm not sure how one sheet metal bullet smoker is different from another as they are essentially the same but maybe there is a difference. To me its moot I moved to BGE's about 8 years ago and will never go back to the bullet smokers. Charcoal consumption, holding temperatures, weather or extreme versatility is not an issue. I do have the electric smoker and it has it purpose:

    Cold smokes in the summer
Making bumper crops of smoked chipotles
Holding cabinet for large cooks like family get togethers.

As for charcoal I use between 600 and 1,000 lbs per year so I am no stranger to having several hundred pounds on hand.

This to me looks better than a rack of ribs and trust me I'm no health nut. Interestingly enough as much as I LOVE cooking low and slow I don't care to eat BBQ.

I don't have that problem at Wally World but every time I go to my FFL dealer to pickup a transfer from Gunbroker seems like I walk out with 2 shotguns instead of just the one I walked in to get. I don't have a problem, I just need another gun safe. And a larger deck for my grills and smokers.

Wife picked up one of the Masterbuilt Smokers last night (friend finally got back to me and he didn't need another said he is working on the getting the stainless steel double wall one we designed built). She said they still had 4 when she got there so she grabbed one which we will give to our brother inlaw for a present. She said they had a bunch of the small ones meant for like camping and stuff on sale for $21, I think she wanted us to get one she kept asking lol but I didn't really see a need for it at this point who know maybe I will change my mind tonight and run up there if they still have them here is the brickseek URL if anyone is interested https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker?sku=135752718

So I guess after I posted the last one my need for the small one changed. Figured I can haul that out to the cabin and just leave it there as I'm always wanting to smoke some food there. So I let my friend know about it and he went and snagged 3 of them. One for him, one for me and one for whatever lol. $21 I think we spent more than that on fast food the other day.

point is the fatty part of the brisket on a whole packer... flat is the lean part. Flat is, of course, flat and point is the raised lumpy part. there is a fat membrane thing in between them.
