Invest in a way that I can live forever off dividends, pay off the house and then buy a decent-sized sailboat. And I'd quietly set up some college funds for some young people in our lives, but I probably wouldn't tell them, their parents or a anyone see about it for a few years. And I'd try not to let anyone really know about the scope of the winnings. I'd still work part time (I'm a graphic designer) for clients that I enjoy working with.

    I'd keep it real basic

A newer Tacoma like a poverty spec 2nd gen single cab in super white with a 4.0 V6 swap.

    A house in the sticks.

A lot of front porch sitting

    Wouldn't you like to know!
pay off all debts, buy some land, build a house, help my folks and family out if they needed, donate to charities. Then start a business once I have traveled the world for a few months

I suspect the simple plans sound good and serve to steer the moral compass, but really, if you won 500M, you're going to live like a dick. It would start small. Eating out all the time. Costco trips would cost double, because you need that pallet of Bud Light and 600 AA batteries. But your conscience gets to you, so you buy the Eneloops instead, because you can. Then you'd realize Amazon boxes are on your porch every day. Need a garden hose? Fuck it. Amazon will deliver one. Before you know it you're vehicle collection gets out of hand. Again, because it can. And you're paying for premium gas nowadays, and not from 7-11 anymore either. Uh oh, now your garage is too small. While you're developing garage/shop of the month plans your wife leaves you, taking half of what's left. So you buy some replacement tang. That'll cost, because your youth has returned. This time with a blow habit. and on and on....

I'd rob a bank. Not because I need the money, I've just always wondered if I could pull off a bank robbery.
If I succeed, sweet, I have a good story and some more money.
If I get caught, I hire a lawyer and avoid prison.

Christ, my vehicle collection is out of hand and I haven't even won the lottery yet.

Currently in the stable the GF and I have 5 cars/trucks, a 17' powerboat, three kayaks, a canoe, and a tractor.
