guessing no one has thought about just turning your front face camera on and viewing it from your phone while simultaneously recording it so you can watch it later, or using the standard camera on your phone a view it through that so the image isn't reversed, as long you aren't looking past your phone into the sun.

 

Haha I had to piggy back off my brothers store who bought a bunch in a bundle so not a whole lot of help there. Sorry man. I think he was saying the paid like $40 for a pack of 10.

 

Phone cameras can't pick it up without a special lense.

 

we have a number 10 shield at work and looked at the sun thru it today, more than a couple seconds was still kinda painful. they say you need a #14 but I guess a #10 in moderation would be ok

 

and you know this because someone tried at the last eclipse in 1979?

looks like the sun (I guess I try not to look at the sun much) but it is white light like it actually is when viewed from space (no I have never viewed it from space but a guy I know...)

oh ok I thought you were saying filming the sun with my phone and I was like "brah I just did" it would be awesome if I could set it up at work and do like a time lapse but the sun moves and stuff (ok so I realize what I just said and I mean it appears to move relative to my position, even though I'm sure the sun does move some that isn't the "movement" we see) but I may give it a shot
