It's a joke. Just so everyone knows, it's in no way associated with the site owner here.

hahaha well I did do that too and thank you, but not recently haha that usb is actually not even hooked up any more cuz I found one that fits under the AC controls. What I was actually subtly showing off is that I painted the chrome trim around the shifter Satin Black

If you want to add switches into your centre console, someone on here makes and sells an insert that allows you to pop switches into haha vague description I know but ill try to find it, unless someone chimes in with the info

Has any one done a reasonable Speaker replacement?

I'm working on a sound deadening project on my doors and winced when I saw the stock speakers in the doors.

Anything you've found that's better then stock I'd like to know.

I'm not thinking of adding an Amp or replacing the HU, just I think there must be something out there that would sound better a fair price.

I did't know they made speaker magnets that small.

Also if you know the correct sizes of the front and rear speakers that would help a lot also, and save me some searching.

Got a new windshield (original had 2 long cracks and countless rock chips) and a new set of Bosch wiper blades to match. All in I only paid $107 out of pocket... Gotta love glass insurance

    TEXAS
    Vehicle:
2008 Tacoma V6 PreRunner SR5 Extended Double Cab Desert Sand Mica
Installed Overhead Compass and Temperature Display along with outside temperature sensor and wiring; LED lights reverse backup; LED license plate lights; Added GTA Bluetooth Audio kit to stock radio for iphone audio; Spare tire steel braided air hose extension connection to rear bumper; Installed new headlights along with new bulbs PIAA H4 XTreme and for fog lights PIAA H10 XTreme bulbs. Installed new hood with "hood-scoop". Installed Predator Side Steps. Replaced front chrome grill with customized color matched (Desert Sand Mica) grill with added TOYOTA lettering (also in matched color), installed and secured tailgate anti-theft devices. Also installed a new external TPMS monitor for all 4 tires.
Well today I finally...yes finally...just up graded my Tacoma's stock radio with a GTA Car Kit's Bluetooth iPhone adapter. :bananadance: :broccoli: :dancingbacon:

Haha......yea finally got with the times.

    http://www.gtacarkits.com/product/toyota-tacoma-2005-2014-iphone-aux-kit/

Previously I used to have GTA Car Kit's iPod/iPhone/iPad/AUX Wired that I had installed some years back and well before that it was just the plain stock radio with CD player.

I've always liked the look of Tacoma's stock radio, so I never was one to up grade to a fancier stereo radio with bluetooth, NAV, etc.
