 yeah, well, as I'm sure you feel the same, I need to take a brake haha you have certainly been a busy man with the new truck! I'm just doing some small things for now, painting a couple interior trim pieces. I need to start saving for my homertaco grill that's coming hahaha next big thing for me would be installing the bed stiffeners if I can get my bed bolts out (damn rust), maybe tmrw morning before I take my buddy out for a bday luncheon.

I am neglecting my thread I know...:anonymous: we are pretty busy at work so my mind is not really oriented toward the truck lol I also have to recover from my 2 weeks vacations. After all I see it was a little expensive lol! I also have my garage roof top to change so here are all the money left

I am navigating between all my favorite threads (your included) but don't have much to say lol for now things are going to be slow on the truck but still have a little list of low cost mods I could do, just have to find the time and motivation. Hunting season I coming pretty fast and I rather invest in that at this time of the year and come back to the truck during winter.

Also today I added a mod to my list. I thought it could be really useful to swap my windows on my shell for a pair of Windoors. Since the cap is on the truck for a working purpose, I might ask my boss if he wants to participate :D

you are lucky to be busy at work, we are really slow right now, like the slowest we have ever been this time of year. doing some service calls and the odd install, but not slammed with installs like usual, even my boss is getting worried. people just aren't spending the money on replacing systems cuz I think people are broke now a days. doesn't help when people are putting adds on kijiji saying they will do a complete furnace install for 1800 bucks lol our cost for the furnace and materials is like 1600 not including labour so they aren't even making any money lol then they end up going out of business. the industry is going down hill lol

Really that much slow!! One of my buddies work for Convex (was his fatherms business actually, but sold to EMCO) and he seems to be pretty busy.

People posting adds like this are allowed to do this? Didn't they need a license or something to install?

yeah we used to buy all are supplies from there from went to somewhere else. boss's decision haha better pricing maybe? no idea haha yeah they are allowed to do it, they are licensed, but they are usually fresh out of school and/or got tired of working for someone and think they know how to run a business. then they go and do shity installs for dirt cheap and screw the customer lol
