Will the old style grabber cup holders work on a 2014 instead of the new rubber ones? It looks like the console housing is the same as a 2007. Btw, if anyone would like to trade the old for the new style, I'm willing. I'd prefer black ,but grey will work too.41PLoEhXpiL._SX355_.jpg Old113303744.jpgNew

I got one off eBay for my '07 that a kid 3D printed. I really only use my Nalgene or Stanley coffee thermos and none of the other ones I found fit either, but this one fits one, the thermos. I drive twisty mountain roads it holds it upright as well.
I'll look for the link and post if you're interested. Or just search for '3d printed cup holder tacoma.'

Had a 2005, and bought a 2015. The FIRST thing I did was switch the cup holders between them before I sold the 2005!

Yeah, when I sold my 07, I was too busy pulling lights, CAI, window visors, bed cover, wheels/tires etc etc & completely forgot about the damn cupholder. The barber style one was grey, but my 14 housing is black, so I went ahead & grabbed one off eBay. That style always worked well for me. Thanks for the info guys. Will see if anyone wants to buy the new ones.

I see the pics above, but can someone post a pic of the older holder in vehicle, with a container in place?

When I bought my truck it didn't come with one. So I bought the older style off of eBay and it broke like a month later. So I found the newer rubber style off of a member here. They never really fit almost anything I put in there. I have a 30 oz RTIC cup and although you could put it in there the cup would pull the holder out every time. When I found the one the other member makes I decided to try it out and it's perfect. Holds the cup great and anything else that fits as well I have an RTIC thermos I bought for my wife and it's good in there

Edit : the only downside, but not a big one for me is cups with a handle

As pictured. I never used mine backwards. Didn't know the fins that hold it in place would work that way.
