Stealth box made for behind the back seat of a 2005 and newer Tacoma. Single enclosure from *********, bedlined with the terminal cup option. Cut out is for a 10" woofer but could be opened up for a 12 if desired. I have 2 of these available $100 each plus shipping OBO. SOld my Tacoma, no longer need these.

Thank you. As long as shipping isn't outrageous due to weight I'll take one.

Did you have any issues with it hitting or rattling against the plastic seat back when it hits lows?

Plastic seat back is removed when these are installed as per Taco Tunes instruction. I suppose depending on the woofer, you may not have to remove them. I ran Image Dynamics IDQ10V3 subs which have quite a bit of excursion and did require the plastic seat backs to be removed.

I'm considering getting one of these from ********* but I'm bothered by one thing. It states that you cannot put the seat down after install because it will damage your subwoofer. I assume this implies the back lower edge of the seat will move back enough to scrape against the sub when leaning the seat forward. I'm wondering if this is entirely true or if they say this as a rule of thumb to compensate for subs that stick out further than others. It's obviously a tight enough fit that it requires removing the seat's back panel.
What bothers me is that I know a box can be built that allows the seat to operate without damaging the product, and yes, still have the .5 c.f. needed for proper sound effect. It looks like a good solid box, worth the $109 to save me from building it myself, but not necessarily worth the possibility of someone ruining my $300 speaker for any reason they happen to pull the cord. If I may put forth a slice of personal philosophy, I think it's poor designing given the fact they state it has .62 c.f., which means it could easily stand to lose another half inch at least from the depth and still be well within specs.
Please comment with your experience with this. Thanks.
