my wife & I can assist as well on Sept 17 after Cars & Coffee (we prob live less than 30 mins away), would like to see the work required when/if we install a set of sliders on our Taco ...
on another note - has anybody attending "derped" their front grills? trying to make that the next mod on our Taco.

 

I've heard it isnt hard. When I decided to do a grill mod, more specifically the famous Satoshi grill, I bought an OEM replacement grill to chop up instead of cutting my stock one.

 

Yes I did it on a chrome grill while waiting on a Homertaco masterpiece.peeled it off and put it away. That's the good thing about derp you don't like it just peel it off.

 

Even if I don't get my new Tacoma by Sept 17th, I will be there in my little beater. Miles are unknown, odo says 197k. I worked on it for 5 years before I purchased it from an older lady. Odo never worked those 5 years LOL.

But I am pumped up there is a meet close to me so I will be in attendance! What time are we meeting?

I don't know what time the cars and coffee is, but there is a thread for it. I'll link it here in a minute. I think once that is over, then the mod meet up. We could do it here, or elsewhere as appropriate. My garage is big enough for one truck at a time, and I have limited tools (going to inventory and organize them today), so people will have to bring some.

I'm not sure of my attendance of the C&C event, especially if we are meeting here. I'll be home tending the smoker. If we aren't meeting here, i'll have to come back, load up my sliders, meat (if it's done), etc., then go to the meet location.

Either way, i'm willing to smoke some type of meat for the meet. I'm thinking pulled pork if there are going to be a bunch of us, or maybe something else if only a few of us.

Whoa, the smoked meat has got me drooling. That will be awesome! Okay, I know which thread you mean. I'll skim through that. Hopefully the weather cooperates.

Found this in the back of the wife's CAR! Guess I got new tie downs I mean what's a Mazda 3 Sport need with tie downs and bungiecords

 

U hid it from the wife. U forgot about. Good hiding spot. Hehe

 

Yea I swiped it from her , put it in the back of the truck

 

She had them , I have no idea why she'd need ratchet straps and bungies
