I really only bought my Tacoma knowing I would be offroading and going on camping adventures. It's not the most practical vehicle if you're staying on the pavement or dirt roads. The cabin space feels smaller than my old Accord, there aren't any fancy/comfort options, I get terrible gas mileage and it's slow. That being said, I love my truck and would buy it all over again knowing what I do now. A friend of mine bought a 5.0 F150 FX4 a week after I got my truck. It was nice, but too big for me. I also beat him in a "drag race" with my 4.0 Taco. He has 60k on it and has had to replace ball joints and his rear diff is leaking. My other friend has a 5.7 Tundra 1794 Crewmax and while it's big, that thing is super nice and pretty fast. If I ever went up to a full size, it'd probably be a Tundra.

Y'all be safe and have fun up there. Wish I could make it to CO and Moab this year, but does not look like it is going to happen. Hopefully next year though.

I saw a new silver Hilux driving around by my office in Las Colinas today. WOOF, that thing is ugly! I couldn't whip out my phone fast enough to take a pic, once I figured out what it was. I thought it was a Ridgeline at first.

Im the total opposite. I bought my 15 Taco and that thing turned out to be the biggest POS Ive ever owned unfortunately. Loved the truck but hated the problems, and now I have 15k problem free miles on my F150. All manufacturers have issues

Yes the secondary cats are still on. I didnt do this for performance or sound. I only cared about clearing my new skids that need to get painted and installed within the next 2 weeks.
