Those look like Orb Spiders, the web in Scott's photo is really cool with the zig zag stitching in the web.

Unfortunately I don't think she trusts me not to do that anymore. I'm not a good teacher - too detailed, actually I've been called anal...

    Well that's wonderful news isn't it. :(

    :anonymous: I don't know him.

    Saweet!

I can fly west bound no issue. Flying east bound screws me up and makes me feel like crap for a couple days. I've pondered how the aircrews adjust for a couple decades now. I like that AK to AZ is only a one hour change in Summer and no change in Winter...I think I've got that right, I've always got to check it every trip.

    OMG :hungry:

    exactly

    Enjoy the trip.

Unfortunately I'll bet there are plenty of folks up there that will teach you the goat yoga. Have fun with that.

    Ever heard of a chigger?

There last section of this article talks about the hearing. I don't think there's any new news lately. It will be a year next month.

This one had big, cool one. It was in the edge of the woods, and it was difficult to get a pic with three phone. I needed my big camera.

Same here I can fly with no issues but Eastbound really sucks . when I visited my brother last year the flight was very fast and the time change didn't bother me . The flight home sucked due to time change and against the Jet stream made the flight last forever

I just had to go archery hunting in the Great Dismal Swamp on the NC side for deer opener a few years back, quite a few years now. Broke 100* but stayed in the swamp until dark. Coming out the snakes were unreal, and a lot of them were cottonmouths that didn't move out of the path some came at me. I cut through a patch of really tall reeds for a quarter mile to get back to the truck. Ended up with the worst case of chiggers the doctors had ever seen, rid a chig, chig a way nothing worked. Ended up rolling around in a diesel fuel oil spill a couple of weeks later that finally killed the little red commie bastards. For the next couple of years on board that ship my nickname was chigger.

In that part of NC they use dogs to push the deer out into open fields where guys sit in tripods and use buckshot to shoot the deer. It is legal and a tradition. I was shocked when I first saw that. I know why now.

Yeah even tried that, no luck. The (Ex) wife wouldn't even let me sleep in the house after that so stayed on the ship for awhile. I was covered from head to toe in red bumps though so it was hard to tackle that many. I still hate those little red bugs with a passion it was miserable and didn't sleep much.
