V6 or straight 4? My parents have a v6 in Everett, but I don't see them giving it up due to the fact that it is still good and powers their highlander

Which model engine you looking for? Actually know a guy who has one in a total'd highlander he picked up. Dont remember the details on it though but it was relatively low miles (100k?). He was trying to pawn it off on me to put in my FJ40 for a bit

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
V6 3.5 for a sport/awd. May need it, depending on the final outcome at the dealership. Oil line that had a recall done on it was replaced with a second bad oil line (sound familiar), and sounds like it just blew up.

If the oil line was replaced by a dealership, and is defective, causing engine failure, that should be the dealership replacing the engine, not you.

They won't even have the part for Erica's car for 3 weeks... Thankfully Toyota of Renton gave us a long term loaner.

I want to say it was that engine that he had. 2GR-FE. But sounds like the dealership should be fixing it anyways.

For those of you with tube racks, have you had issues with your tent sliding side to side on rough roads? I had my tent tight enough I couldn't physically push or pull it but on the way out of the mountains this morning it twisted.

Also @Nimitz was that you staying at a hotel in ellensburg?

They moved heavy equipment up fortune creek trail and they are widening it in order to get fire fighters up there. and Trail is closed obviously.

Friday we met Jim up in Stampede and my gf, who is not a drinker, drank wine all night. So the next day we sat there most of the day while she continued to sleep off the hanger. So when we left I figured we'd go up to Gallagher because it's close and my friend has never been wheeling and I figured he'd like the views and shit. Approaching Salmon La Sac we saw signs about fire activity ahead. That spot where we always stop and air down had a huge sign about the fire and a big list of what trails were closed. We studied it up and down and there was nothing about fortune creek or 4w301. If it was on the sign I would have went somewhere else. So we were bummed when we got there and it was closed and we just camped close by. This morning a nice Forest Service lady stopped by to give a friendly reminder of no fires and only cooking with propane. I told her about the trail not on the sign and she said she would get it fixed. And then she told me about all the heavy equipment and fire fighters that were going to be heading up there soon.

oh well, maybe they'll turn it into a perfectly groomed forest road now LOL.
