You tube is good for some things I would be lying if I said I never use it. This would be one of the reasons I don't volunteer help on here much anymore. Why waste my breath trying to help when many times nobody listens. Somethings like this subject IMO you tube can help give you basic knowlege for the internet wrrior to get out and try but there's no substitute for good experienced hands on instruction. God knows I don't know everything not even abut what i do for a living nor do I claim to but alot of what is done with body work and paint is stuff that has to be learned mostly the hard way.

Learning from someone more experienced is definitely more beneficial in certain things. Welding comes to mind. I sure wouldn't try and learn welding through YouTube, but would rather learn hands on with someone more experienced such as yourself. Other things though, I prefer to tackle myself. Just comes down to a personal learning preference is all.

I guess it's a good thing I don't know how to weld or have the means/equipment to do it, otherwise I might actually have something I could offer.

I would appreciate something's no being considered here. Folks on here bad mouth me enough. When you want to point out that justin may charge for some things absolutely. There are exspendables to consider plus the work being done. I was there for most everything he's done coming nsidering johns cmc and sliders and coot's cmc and the fiasco that was the lt installation. I never asked for nor accepted a dime from people and whatever the pittence may be that they were charged covere 2 people's labor for quite a bit of time. We were actually trying to help. No more if this is an issue for me to do my profession everybody can start paying my Labor rate of $85 an hour plus consumables. This wasn't meant to be a money make no thing for either of us frankly I don't need it. But if I'm hearing shit about it work is work pay my price

I apologize for my absense this morning as I was helping another tw guy move with some others. I can appreciate the recent posts that have been in regards to detailing and understanding how to use a polisher.

I think I will take up @TacoFMS's offer about understanding this process first hand, he has always been a true and honest friend with a lot of experience in tacomas and the work many seek to do to them. It's also been a good amount of time since I have hung out which is long over due.

I also want to give @EatSleepTacos some credit as I don't think you are aware that me and tacofms, Casper and some of the down south folks are good friends and I can see your hesitation in the event it might of seemed like an advertisement over a learning opportunity.

With that being said, I have never met you unfortunately EST, but as I can attest for tacofms, he is good people as I assume is the same for you which I hope we might be able to destroy some tacos soon! I will happily watch the links you provided in my thread to help better the build!

Long story short, I believe we are all good guys here, just misunderstood due to this topic. My hope is that moving forward that we can all have a positive neutral stance towards one another. Thanks everyone for providing insight and hopefully we can let the chatter of thus morning get past us.

FYI the noise saga still continues. Danny things it might be the bracket of the passenger reservoir pounding the wheel well. I might throw some things on it to see if it muffles the noise.

Reverse psychology? You can just say you want to hang man....you ain't gotta try to trick me!!!

It's no worries man, just think both sides had good intentions, but wasn't understanding one another.
