:woot::woot::headbang::headbang::headbang: didn't even see the email saying it was shipped yet. Now what's going to get to me first, my sis or my sweet Mobtown patch! Doesn't matter, it'll all be here soon! Thanks for the GB. :hattip:

What grit should we sand the skids with before we prime them? The steel ones

No idea. We aren't good painters.

I would wire wheel it. Sanding takes too long. Better yet, get the cheap media blaster from harbor freight.

So then self etching and sanding would be even better

Go home. Maybe your lunch was "bad". I dont work wednesdays so I have been running around taking care of errands and had to go by the Dr's office. Pup woke me up at 4a needing to go out ASAP and I could go back to sleep. Get to take him for his final booster shots a little later! Then back to the grind tomorrow.

Got my IFS and Trans skid...just a question, but what hardware was supposed to come with it? I received 1 bag with 2 bolts, 2 lock nuts and 4 washers. Pretty sure thats for mating the 2 together.

AND...if I need to use my factory hardware, can someone please throw the specifics out there? My factory IFS skid wasnt on the truck when I got it.

Received my front and trams skids today. Parts depth @ my work place almost got a hernia lifting the front steel plate.

Finished painting it with vht paint.
    Will install tomorrow.
The 2 bolts and nuts are they suppose to be use to secure the front plate to transmission skid plate?

For the most part they fit really well but on the transfer case skid crossmember it didn't want to line up with the bolt for the brake lines... we had to use a jack and a clamp and loosen a few other bolts to get the metal in place

Anyone in southern CA want to trade steel front and trans skids for their aluminum front and trans skids plus cash to make up for difference in pricing
My skids were bare metal and I painted them with VHT paint.

Couldn't get the transfer case skid and the transmission skid to bolt together fully on that side because of it, a bolt would shear. The bolts are just pretty tight on that side of the connection, not completely touching
