If you have the bracket rubbing the hose problem here is a easy fix. Bend the bracket that holds the tubing that has the hoses on it. That moves the hose down away from the bracket. Mine wasn't touching but I bent it down a little anyway.IMG_0008.jpg IMG_0005.jpg IMG_0006.jpg

Does anyone have a fuelpax with a rotopax bed rail mount? Curious if it would fit under a tonneau cover.

Tried searching bit didn't come up with much...

    Welcome to TW .
I keep my rotopax behind the back seats. I am afraid it will get stolen even with the locking mount if I keep it mounted outside on the bed. I don't have a bed cover, because I want my truck to look like a truck so that's another reason. I pour the fuel back to the tank and fill it back up every re-fill.

Yeah I have way to much gear back there to leave open. The OEM trifold would be super easy to break into but out of sight out of mind.

What size Rotopax do you have? I'm gonna wait for the 4.5 gallon fuelpax to come out (if it fits). I don't think I could take myself seriously filling up with the 4 gallon rotopax surfboard/ traction board / fuel can thing:D

Does they stick over the top of the bed rail?
    Can they be mounted sideways?
    Thanks

There's a difference Chad. Nobody would dare steal from a marine's truck especially in Kentucky from your drive way, or from your work. Your truck is always safe. I live in a Big city in San Diego, and my truck's parked outside on the curb away from my eye sight. We always have people down on the street driving or walking that doesn't live anywhere near this neighborhood. It's a big and busy city close to the Mexican border, and only two hours from L.A. My truck is always out of my sight whether I'm at the gym, work, or even if I am doing groceries. You could never be safe here. You keep something in your truck or car, if it's of value, somebody will try to steal it. There are literally hundreds of chop shops, body shops, used parts shops, pawn shops, shady junk yards and used car dealerships, and "workshops" here. You got to always play it safe and watch your six. It's different from safe life in KY.

Mine's a 2 gallon one similar to the one Chad has on his truck. Red one for the fuel. Small enough to fit behind the back seats.

    Hitting each other.
    IMG_4695.jpg
This is the passenger side for reference.

I don't want to bash on 4wheel parts, but... I'm starting to loose faith in them. I have waited almost 3/4 months for my kit, I dropped my truck off for instillation Tuesday picked it up yesterday and took it back this morning because the hose clamps were put on the reservoir with the tightening nut faceing the UCA causing scratching and squealing that the shop manager/store manager and the installer couldn't locate or see that the clamps where faceing the wrong way. So they corrected that (just flipped the hose clamps) then I get home and see the reservoirs hitting each other.
They told me that it is a manufacturing error on icons part, that the mounting bar for the secondary and its reservoir has been made wrong. I don't know about that. I'm having a hard time with believing that with this "bolt on" kit anything would be manufactured wrong, I guess there is a slim chance but probably not likely.
If anyone has any experience with Icon STG 7 with secondaries installation please feel free to chime in on it. Here are some pics of my truck after install.

Couple of photos here of some of my chrome removal efforts on the 17 limited. I bought some new white mirror caps to replace the chrome ones, then plastidipped the handles white and then glossified them. Had already dipped the fog light bezels and Tacoma lettering black. Got it washed after the handles dried
