Any advice on removing the badges. I was able to take the badges off, but it's nearly impossible to get the adhesive off. People have posted videos just rubbing it off with your thumb, but this isn't possible on my truck. I tried to spray it with this turtle wax adhesive remover, but it didn't help at all. Any advice is appreciated I'm about to just take it to an auto body shop and pay someone to remove it. I've spent about 3 hours today messing with it. Would've just left them on if I'd know it would be this much of a pain in the ass.

The stuff I was using is similar to goo gone. The problem is that the adhesive is too thick. Maybe if I just drench it over and over again.

Get a microfiber cloth and use it to peel across the adhesive like you would your finger and it will pull it up

Lighter fluid. Put lighter fluid on it and let it sit for a few minutes. Put more lighter fluid on it and let it sit. Repeat about five times. It will come off and not damage paint.

I just took mine off this morning....it was pretty brutal. Took me 45 minutes for both sides. I used prep-all solvent, a hair dryer and my thumb nail. Keep at it and you'll get it!

Try something like this connected to a drill. I used it on the decals on one of my old trucks.

I didn't have goo gone so I use wd40. I got a piece if siran wrap (any kind of plastic wrap will do), I spray the adhesive then lay the plastic over it so the wd40 don't run down. Leave it for 20-30 minutes. Then remove the siran wrap and start scratching off the soft adhesive with my finger nail. Then repeat til it's all gone. Make sure to clean and wax after since wd40 removes wax.

If you have a blow dryer laying around use it. It'll soften up the adhesive. Just go in a back-and-forth motion and use the tip of your finger to rub it off

This is how a body shop would do it. Napa or an auto body supply place would carry it .The slower the better

WD 40 and a micro fiber cloth didn't do anything. The adhesive is raised up several millimeters. Gonna try the hair dryer now. I should have just taken this to a shop and paid someone $100 to do this, complete waste of a Saturday haha.

Goo gone brand. Off brands don't work as well. WD40 is not as good as goo gone either but will work. Neither hurts the paint or clear coat. I took off a badge last week and took about five minutes using goo gone and fishing line.

I ran into the exact same problem. I used a heat gun to help soften the adhesive and a micro fiber cloth with goo gone and a little elbow grease. Took the adhesive off no problem. Then I rinsed the area down with a hose.

I managed to remove all the adhesive. I had to soak it with the 3M stuff, then use a ton of it with a plastic scraper using a lot of force. I don't know if mine was baked on more because of the AZ sun or they used a different adhesive, but it was definitely a real pain in the ass and took a long time.
