I would like to hear from you all that had this Driveline TSB done. Did it help with your vibration problem?

After all the vibe issues I had, my original dealership stated that my '08 already had the new mount. However, I took it to another dealership today and they removed the DS. Then, they drove it in 4H and said the vibes were not there. They have me scheduled for the TSB.

I had a low speed vibe, 2/3 upshift and downshift between 10-25mph about 2000mi after i had 5100's set at 1.75 and the rear spring tsb done.265/75/16 a/t tires. The dealer installed the tsb mount and two rear driveshaft u joints, cured about 1/2 of the vibe. I ended up putting in the carrier bearing drop kit and 3 degree shims in the rear axle to cure the rest of the vibe. 07 accees cab with v6 auto.

Thanks for the feedback. I called the dealer again today and the Service Advisor mentioned that the mount I had was not the updated one. I hope it helps my issue with vibes.

Bumping to bring this back up...

Has ANYONE gotten this TSB performed?

"Some customers may complain about a vibration felt in the seat, floorboard, and/or steering wheel between 15 – 25 mph caused by a second order driveline vibration. Use the following repair procedure to address this concern."

"• This repair is covered under the Toyota Powertrain Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.

    • Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer’s specific complaint."

Now that I have the axle-wrap thumps pretty much licked, this vibration is ever so much more apparent to me.

Any experiences at all? Did it solve your problems of this sort if you got it?

    Thanks!

Just had the TSB done on my truck. I'm still undecided about it. As crazy as this sounds when I'm driving to my home which is uphill for several miles I don't feel the vibes but when going down hill away from my home I feel them???
I need to drive my truck a bit more to decide.

It was better after I got the TSB done. However, it was still there. Its not as noticeable anymore. The engine rattle, leaf squeak and dash noise kind of muffle it.

Has anyone had this tsb done on a model later than a 2008? The TSB make sit seem like they had a production change in components and thus this does not apply to 09-11 model year trucks. True?
