    I don't have a sawzall either. Typically I'd just to buy the best chainsaw out there for the job but as usual, money is tight right now. I just had a tree guy at my house. They leave (no pun intended) and my wife mentions we should take down two small trees in front of the house.

    Have someone competent look at your driveshaft angles. CB drop may not be enough. May have to install axle shim.

    Check your DS angles. Wheel bearing gave me wicked vibes too, but you shouldn't have that problem yet lol

    No. But that's gonna be looked at as well. I was asking in another thread. Can u take the rear drive shaft out aND drive in 4 high. If it's still there it's in the front correct? I'll take a pic of the front shafts before any work starts and post.

    Id say pulling the rear drive shaft and seeing if you have vibes is kinda smart kinda not. Not supposed to go over 50 in 4wd. And IMO I would not recommend it at all... but I don't think that you would have vibes up front... this sounds like a carrier bearing the way you explain it. An axle shimming would probably help. I was fortunate enough to not need a shim of cb drop.

    I did use the CB drop kit. I'm gonna pull the battery and put back the stock one. Then if it's still there gonna remove the CB drop kit. If still there gonna shoot myself. So hopefully gonna be a quick day today. Going to see what the angle should be on the drive shaft. As @stairgod stated it may be to much or less of an angle. I'll try anything at this point. I really want to enjoy the truck. And the lift looks bad ass. But know I want it to be functional.

    Yes. But I don't think the front shaft spins unless 4x4 is engaged so that shouldn't cause a vibe in 2H. Does the 3rd gen have the same shaft as the 2nd?

    My local Toyota dealership did a good job with my frame replacement.
    The only thing I had an issue with was that the dealership gorilla ridiculously torqued down the new hard brake line fittings.
    But I got an even more powerful gorilla highly evolved primate to undo those fittings so we could install extended brake lines.

    I drove with just my front driveshaft to break in my front gears. Know what happened? Absofuckinglutely nothing. The idea in Dave's case was to remove the rear shaft to see if the vibration is coming from there? Like remove it and if vibes go away then it's either the cab or u joints.

    I am gonna pull a Fabio and tell you to STFU

    Actually the owners manual only specifies do not engage 4wd at speeds over 50, it says nothing about how fast you can go in 4wd. Also there are many threads on this topic so maybe you can try the search noob. Also just for the record I've had my truck to about 80 in 4wd with no ill effects and in 4lo I've hit rev limiter in 5th gear(not sure what the speed was)

    He spreads bad information at the worst times.
    You can run 4hi as fast as you want, just not for a long period of time, the gear oil doesn't flow that well up front and the bearings are small, so they will overheat.

    So what youre saying is that me suggesting it to be kinda smart kinda not is dumb? Honestly Ill bet when he unbolted the CB and bolted it back on its not perfectly aligned now. Had it happen to my truck after they did the trans oil pump gasket.


    And @Wheelspinner I haven't seen those threads but I am sure its talked about alot in the LT threads. No interest in LT so I don't go in there. I have also gone over 50 in 4x4 in the snow but not for very long...
