    I've added a total of 10 USB ports, but none on the center console. Have a 400-watt inverter with 4 USB ports bolted to rear of center console for the rear passengers. Have a 2-USB port on the little squarish thingy below vent and to left of glove box, for the passenger. Have a combination 2-USB port/2-cig lighter thingy bolted under the center coin tray thingy, right of steering column. And, have a 2-USB port mounted in one of the empty switch ports on dash left of steering wheel. I think I've seen someone put a USB port inside the center console, but have not seen one on the console. If you take the console out and look on the bottomside, you'll see a honeycomb type web of extruded plastic that would make it a challenge to insert a USB port. Well, inserting it will be easy; it's bolting it in place that's the challenge.

    I thought about trying to mount a 110 outlet to the outside of the center console some how.

    Like this? There is a thread on here to do this. All you need is the inverter set up in bottom of counsel. Pretty easy to do.

    Looks like you used the screw holes for the plate on the outlet to mount it.

    lol not at all. I would worry about that. I would charge phone and or Bluetooth devices. Not drawing much power at all

    I have 3. One is built into my Schosce Magic phone mount. The other is just a 12v to USB adapter that a passenger can use. The factory USB I use for my MP3 player.

    I did add a 12v port the the back of the center console of the wife's Prius and stuck a dual USB adapter in it. That's been a lifesaver on long trips. No more dead phones and tablets for the kids. Makes for quiet, peaceful road trips. The lighted ring is tied into the parking lamp cicuit. Makes for easy finding in the dark.

    That's pretty neat so how does that work? Is that connected to your main battery?

    @Twom07

    I don't remember! Pretty sure I ran the line down to the fuse box and used a fuse tap. I use it mostly to power my handheld GPS which is low power.

    You can go to the fuse box in the cab under the coin door by adding a fuse tab, or wire into the engine bay fuse box. There are some live blades you can tap into. Use a voltmeter to find them.
