    Painted my gauge cluster rings Satin Black to match the trim around the shifter that I painted a couple days ago.

    EDIT: I DID pull the cluster off to remove the rings lol

    Put my steering wheel cover on finally I ran out of string they gave me so I had to finish it off with a strand of 550 cord I had laying around

    Well, took the air bag off to see that the weight caused the bottom plug bolt on the bag to rub against the bolt head that secures the Daystar cradle to the bracket. That caused the bottom plate on the bag to concave and the plug bolt to wear a pin sized hole in the plate. So, I took the bag off, submersed it in water up to the plate to keep it cool, and welded the bolt head to the plate and put a good wide bead around it. Submersed the entire bag and shot air to it, and no leaks! Not sure why Firestone doesn't make a set of bags to go with the Daystar cradles that have a solid bottom plate without the plug bolt. What that bolt is for anyway, is to secure the bag to the base plate if you aren't using the cradles. Just another fail point in my opinion, the more holes, the more chances for the bag to leak. Just my opinion, otherwise the bags are great. I have had zero issues with my passenger side, must be the added weight of the fuel tank and driver. ??. Still gonna install the new leafs and probably sell the bags
