Sorry, yet another stupid question

In doing my homework on lifts and tires, this 5 lug vs 6 lug stuff doesn't apply to '05 and later Tacos, correct? I was afraid if I searched 'stupid question' I'd crash Tacoma World's site.

 

there are 5 lug 05+ tacoma's, they are base models. I think all are 4cyl.

5 or 6 lug as in lug nut? As in look outside and count them? I was on a website that asks, I guess routinely. I couldn't figure out why they needed to know that for a lift kit. Unless you were changing the rims is there any reason at all that would matter? I'm trying to make lug nuts as complicated of a subject as possible.

nope X runner share the same basic suspension as the reg 5 lugs and they have the 1GR-FE V6

and you can get an SR5 trim 5 lug access cab only tho

 

the front suspension setup is very different, spindles, brakes, ucas, lcas and the coilover are all different. rear the leafs are over axle and the axle housing is different, and the rear shocks mount to the axle vs. 5 lugs where they mount to the u bolt plate
