So i have Bilstein 5100s all around, fronts set at 2.5", stock coils, rear General Spring HD 3+1 leaf springs.

Front sits about 7/8"-1" lower than the rear. Looking for advice on the best front suspension mod to help level out the truck without the front being taller than the rear. Forward rake is fine, just not as much as it currently has.

So far im thinking toytec top plate spacers would be fine. But im open for suggestions. Possibly new coils, coil spacers? Just want to know what some of you more experienced Tacoma guys think would be the best route for me to go? Thanks

If it were me I'd get new coils (longer and higher spring rate) and lower the bilsteins to gain your lift the proper way. I find bilsteins maxed out ride pretty harsh. That's just me though.

What springs do you think would be good? The 884s? Yea i was worried about harsh ride but in my opinion it really isn't bad at all, but with top plate spacers it could definitely make it a bit worse.

I agree with Northern Taco. More coil with less preload will ride better and possibly provide a little more lift.

If you haven't already installed upper control arms, more lift may require them.

Finally, if you've recently installed the rear springs, they'll probably settle some. May wanna wait a couple thousand miles and see or you could end up nose high.

They settled quite a bit after a couple hundred miles, id say around 3/4"-1". Hard to imagine they will settle much more but maybe slightly. Still would like the front a hair lower than the rear, which should leave room if they do settle too much more

887s at what setting on the front? Also what rear suspension setup do you have? How level does the truck sit?

There is only one setting with the 887's 0 and I have the ICON 3 Leaf Progressive AAL in the back. Sit's just about a 1/4 lower in the front.

Only one setting because they are so long? Or could you go up a notch, but have a harsh ride? Looks nice! Thanks

Would Eibachs be a good alternative? Arent they slightly stiffer than the stock coils, with the ability to use any of the 5100 shock heighth settings? Or will they also give a harsh ride?

I believe with Eibach's you can only use the .85 setting on the 5100

Got my 887s on today with 1/4" driver side spacer, set at 0" with my Bilstein 5100s. Went smooth and got almost another half an inch of lift from the 5100s with stock springs set at 2.5". Also rides muuch smoother. Great upgrade.
