After spending hours combing through this thread I am looking for a few quick bits of advice. Looking to get either a Tepui Kukenam XL, Baja XL or a CVT Rainier and mount it on the bed with the new KB voodoo HD bed bars to keep the tent down out of the wind. I have a DCSB and am wondering if there are challenges with the rear window/cab being in the way when the tent is setup? I'd love to see any photos anyone has of a similar setup.

I have a CVT Mt. Rainier on Relentless "tall" bars and basically the rear view mirror/back window is useless. Also, the RTT is longer than the bed/bed bars...so there is an overhang. Nothing wrong with the overhang, doesnt flex feel like its going to break. check out my gallery if you want pics.

@Box Rocket What size hardware are the roof rack mounting bolts for Tepuis? I'm looking to price out security nuts to keep my tent from walking off before I buy an Ayer and all the accessories in one go.

I love that license plate. Grew up in Riverside county and the Mojave will always smell like home to me.

For those of you with tube racks, have you had issues with your tent sliding side to side on rough roads? I had my tent tight enough I couldn't physically push or pull it but on the way out of the mountains this morning it twisted.

I had a few issues using the flat clamps that it came with but none since switching to using exhaust clamps for the mounts.

Can anyone recommend a good set of leveling blocks for 6" or more of lift? I've been looking around on RV sites for options but haven't found much. I may have to settle for a smaller amount of lift

    Stuff. Also things.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume he's not talking about suspension lift.

    I could be wrong.
I've been pretty happy with these.
