Yeah, I used tacoma vinyl decals on ebay too (http://stores.ebay.com/tacomavinyldecals). Light brown is Quicksand.

You sir, are my hero. Eventually I too would like to be running the full Dissent bed/roof rack system. Any word on when the rear bumper cap replacements will be available?

Not sure on that. I think Ben @Dissent86 is doing a mid rack and one with a headache bar. I'm waiting for the mid version so I can switch out. And the front bumper. It's pretty fun to watch all this coming together. Ben and Dissent offroad will do well. He's a great person and deserves it.

 

Cool deal. I like their direction of how and why they build their products. I'm an outdoor enthusiast, not a hardcore off-roader. My truck is my daily driver so modularity and light weight are most important to me.

How do these metal clips go on? I got one on so far but there had to be an easier way to do this.

 

Put the clip on with the bent curve side toward the pin coming upward. Hope it make sense

 

Thanks. I did them that way.

Used some needle nose pliers to push them in this way and it went a lot faster.

 

Painted the letters and got the grill on. Hardest part was getting out the old grill from the shroud.

 

I've had the grill for a couple days but I can't put on the truck because they forgot to send me the mounting clips for the letters.

 

To those who have received their orders: how long from the time you ordered until the grill shipped?

 

Mine was shipped the same day. I ordered in the morning and it arrived the next day.

 

Ordered on the 18th and haven't heard anything.
