If they don't know why they have those trucks it doesnt look promising, and is a little concerning.

I'm curious how forced induction will work with the Atkinson cycle engine.... I don't really need my truck to go faster, if I want to go fast I get on this. :bikewheelie2:

During Atkinson's cycle, a supercharger can only be used for reducing pumping losses, so you would need to recirculate or bypass excess air volume during Atkinson. The same can be said for Otto cycle. However, if the tune allowed the truck out of Atkinson cycle at a little lower load, we could have a lot more low end torque due to better, more efficient cylinder filling at low RPMs.

So would the blowoff valve just remain open during Atkinson then?

Not a blowoff valve, but rather a recirculation valve, or a bypass valve, but yes it would. Air would be Circulating from the boosted side to the preboosted side during Atkinson.

You would, however, leave a very small amount of boost pressure, though, to cancel out the pumping losses of the pistons.

You have to assure that your induction valve doesn't get obstructed causing a lost to the boosting sensors.

I thought so. The induction valve must be like a canibolous pin, or a muffler bearing.

Any ideas what it's like to go from stock to a supercharger? I've never had the pleasure of driving one. Only stock tacos.

It is like having a larger engine. I.e. 14.7 psi of intercooled boost is something like doubling the engine size while under that boost. Of course, this is a gross estimate.
