Austin Area TW Chapter (all gens welcome, even T4Rs; heck, just make it a Toyota and we're good)

walked outside last night to get my keys and saw a skunk. it ran towards my backyard...go to the backyard, and there are 3. i've never seen skunks that close, and i'm glad my dogs aren't home yet...

 

Ha ha! My neighbor has a small dog my two love to chase it around when they play. They will catch him, hold him down with a front paw, lick it to death, let it get up and run away and then catch it again rinse repeat etc.

 

Our girls are both rescues, both formerly feral. It's hard to imagine these little love bugs being out on their own, but every once in a while their inner dog comes out. Kiki (the small one on left) is skittish around people and dogs, but will take on large rodents and lizards with glee. She's brought us dead geckos, moles, and mice, and has serious beef with a local squirrel. Lucy (on right) is a stone cold killer. Nicknames include "Lucy-furr" and "Murder Dog." She hates new people, the UPS/FedEx guy, other dogs, and anything not already in her "circle of trust." She's very fear-aggressive - goes on the offensive when she gets scared. Once she trusts you, however, she will be all over you.

They're a handful out and about. Kiki is a good influence on Lucy, and I'm hoping that as we introduce Lucy to more strange situations that end up positive she will be less aggressive. I'd take them to C&C is I could trust Lucy not to rip someone's face off. Maybe October...
