So I figured I'd start a build thread now, even though it's gonna be awhile before I actually get moving on this build. Ole Juan is a 2008 Prerunner SR5, with the 4.0l V6 engine. Standard 5 speed Auto, and only a 4x2 (RWD). Double Cab because the more the merrier right? and a 5 foot bed.

Background: The story behind Ole Juan is a simple one actually. My grandfather has always driven a Tacoma since the first day I could understand cars. He and I were very close, He drove me to Pre-School every day, and we'd always go down to the train tracks and wait for trains in the bed of his Taco. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2009, and as of 2010 he is no longer allowed to drive. His truck sat in my grandparents garage in North Carolina for years, until my 16th birthday, When I bought it for 5k. Why Ole Juan? My grandfathers name is John, and so Juan just seemed to fit.

Here's Ole Juan's first picture ever, The day after we threw some new AT Tires on him:

Those are standard size Firestone Destination A/T's, and have increased the Traction and Grip dramatically.

    Current Mods/Upgrades:

    Tires: Firestone Destination A/T's

    Exhaust:
    - Cherry Bomb Glasspack 23 inch (pictures below)

    Misc.:
    - ZHOL Chrome shift knob (who cares if it's auto?)
    -LED colored Interior Lights

My plans for the future include:
(Ordered from most important to least)
    - Suspension upgrade (Suggestions are needed)
    - Grille (purely cosmetics)
    - Pelfreybilt Rear bumper w/ gate
    - Bed/Roof Racks

Here are a few Pictures including the Jury Rigged Muffler setup...

As I said, Pictures of the muffler setup.

The extending pipe when we realized the muffler was not long enough...

And finally the way it is all held together at the moment.

Held together using exhaust clamps and held up using hangers. Still trying to get it welded.
