Just got done. The no spring compressor method is so easy, too like 35 minutes/side and that's with pulling and greasing the LCA bolts. 6112s are beefy as hell, pics don't do them justice.

Yeah no helmet needed for either rider or passenger in NH. RI law is no helmet needed for rider but passenger needs to have one. Weird!

 

PSA! Our phones at work have been ringing like crazy lol. No your Welding helmets auto-darkening filter will not darken in sunlight, nor will it provide sufficient protection for you to watch the eclipse. However if you can find it you can use a shade 14 passive filter according to NASA.

 

But you need eye protection.
That always annoyed me when I rode in NH, because I used a tinted visor so I didn't need to wear sunglasses. But in NH riding with it cracked open for some air flow? ILLEGAL!

Yeah but those are practically impossible to find. Oxyacetylene is the only thing they're really used for, and that's something of an uncommon thing these days.

 

I don't care about living but I wear a full face generally to hide myself from the shame of how I act on the bike.

I have always ridden with a dark shield and clear glasses so I can open it while riding.
