I currently have a 2011 Tacoma, but she has some cosmetic issues... she was purchased august of last year salvaged due to extensive hail damage. Im finally getting around to repairing the hail damage but i will repaint my truck. Now, the question is, what color? Im pretty dead set on doing a full Line-X job, because why the hell not? Truck wont ever scratch on trails, and looks badass, also not to mention it provides great dent prevention. My only 2 options im considering are Dark Grey or Tan. What do you guys think?

And yes, 3" lift has been ordered along with 285 Wildpeak AT3W which will go on ASAP:bananadance:

How she looks today (best pic i have)

And just for reference, here are 2 vehicles i have seen with Line-X of my color choices.

And not the best pic, but here is the grey

Whatever you guys/gals decide is what my truck will be!

Much more color choice, nicer texture, not cheap, but not as expensive. No rubber bits to make it rough feeling.

Be sure to look over the readers ride pages.

Whatever you chose, keep in mind the door jambs and under hood area are gonna show every time you open them. Doing white, or at least making a two tone option with white and 'something' would make that less obvious.

Thanks for the info! Gonna look into that.

As for the door jambs and all that, i dont really care that much, and if i did care they paint the jambs and under the hood for an extra $500

    Do white.

The tan color looks horrible on Tacomas. Looks hot on the F150 and 4Runner. Not on a Taco.

I would go with the grey as I see tan tacomas every day.

If you're gonna build a full blown trail rig then leave it as is. If you're gonna daily it repaint it white so the scratches don't show.

Unless you're after the trailer park zombie response unit look.

Look into awl grip. It's tougher than powdercoat but can also be worked like paint from what I know.

Tan for sure! The grey looks like a faded black
