Gonna be busy @ work tomorrow. Hoping to be home by eclipse time. Once that's done, I think it's time to unbolt the front bumper, install the Baja Designs fogs, then shim the bumper bolts to get the ends to raise just a bit...

    Not quite level....

Depending on how long that takes, and how miserable hot it is, may bolt on the last 2 sections of the skid plates. If that gets done, I'm caught up and out of truck parts!

Working on a package deal to get my front door windows tinted to match rears at the same time my SIL has same done on his T4R. Tint people will come to us and do it while we're @ work.....$39 each.

Saving for headlights, front locker, and a grill.

Walking around work with a red white and blue, flamed Lincoln "Dale Earnhardt Jr" welding hood on, in the upright position.

How to get a lot of weird looks for $1000 Alex!

    Zombie apocolipse @ 2:30.

Huge semi wreck on I 65 north. 3 lanes closed.

Electric keeps going out at work. LG&E (power company) running all over the area trying to figure out what is wrong.

Neighborhood Popo station has all their off duty officers in the parking lot for "training"

    Eclipse peak @ 2:30.

    Bring on the zombies

    Baja Design fogs done!

    Mid skid done.

T-case skid will require 2nd set of hands....and temps about 20 degrees lower. It can wait.

    Done. For now.

Cold shower and colder beer inbound.

    Eclipse was cool. I don't have a 5 (+) hour drive home!

Almost 6k since August 1st. This would have been done almost 2 years ago had I not been paying for my doctors cool looking Range Rover.

    Still a few things left;

New headlights.....parking lights burnt lenses.... Missed TSB by 150 miles when I tried that angle.

    ARB front locker

887s to replace current 885s. Those are sitting in the garage.

    AllPro expo leaf pack....

Kings or Fox shocks. I have a connection with Jeff Fox from my merdercycle racing daze. May call in a favor there if I can.

    Topper of some description.

    prisnu roof rack.

Toyota "SEMA" 17" wheels. (In garage) when I need tires again. Will be Cooper STT PRO 285/75r17 (34")

    Jeeeez! I need another 10k

List never get's quite caught up.. There's always more to do. Still gotta CORRECTLY run switch wiring for fogs. Grease rear driveshaft. I did the front and forgot to do the back one while I had the grease gun out.. Then I can put the t-case skid on. Front bumper needs to be unbolted one more time. It needs one more washer/shim on the top bolts. Ends still lower than front in relation to the body. When I do, you'll see pictures of a cart I built. Jack the truck up about an inch. Put the front edge of the "fixture" (of old plywood) under the lower skid, let the jack down, unbolt and roll bumper away. Sets on an old 4 wheel dolly meant to carry stacks of bread racks. If you use it ONCE you'll be glad you made it. Should work for pretty much any winch bumper with some individual tweeking. When you do have to take off an assembled winch bumper (for whatever reason) it's nice to have an easy way

That sounds much more robust than my 'put a rtic cooler underneath it' solution

Let me put it this way...On originally, then off, then back on. Never lifted the bumper by hand. Not once.

And I did have to pick it up and put it on the cart...
    Once.

It's nice to have a SAFE easy way to do a job without help if you dont have it handy.

It's always nice when it starts monsoon raining right after you wash the truck.
