Yes I am running LED's in the front turn signals as well. On my personal Tacoma, I am not running any resistors at all. I have so many LED's added on the turn signal circuit, the computer thinks the load is stock bulbs.

Heh. Maybe that's what I should do! Don't think it's possible to have too many LEDs.....

I've put LED bulbs in quite a few cars in the last few years, I am definitely not a stranger to how they work. But the strangest thing happened when I put LED bulbs on the front...one hyper-flashed, one did not. Both don't hyper-flash if the engine is off.

I added resistors on both sides anyways.

Still cannot decide about the winjets...I am seeing so many mixed reviews but I really love the look of them!

If I can't run the winjet tail lights, I want to combine the 2 bulbs into 1 by wiring them together, and then have the brake and turn signals run together (tail as turn). I think having both be red, it's far too inconspicuous when you are turning with the brake lights on. I've noticed too many close calls.

Functionality wise I like the Winjets. The running light bar thing is crazy bright and the built in resistor is nice, too. The brake and turn are a little better than OEM I'm that they operate off a non-running light. The OEMs are just so badly thought out.

Whoever has the winjets, can you post up-close installed pics of how they match the body lines around the taillight opening? Aftermarket tail lights tend to not fit perfectly and a gap/sloppy fit would drive me bananas.

Couldn't agree more. Honestly hate the design layout of the OEM's. Wish they had gone with a standard vertical bulb layout like every other truck out there.

Cheap to manufacture. They don't care about looks.

Agree with what your saying, but also feel the standard truck tailight is equally cheap to manufacture. I just hate the "c" shaped design. Would much rather have the tundra tailight than ours. I do like what you did with your custom tailights, but I agree with the other post that it is hard to distinguish brake and turn signals at the same time. Have had a lot of people almost rear end me this way.

The C shape light fits the Tacoma's body lines way better than any other designs IMO. Tundra lights are no better, as they too use red for both brake/turn.(just moved the reverse into the middle)
What's ideal is to use the entire upper red Section for just brake light.
Then at the bottom use a white/Amber switchback for both turn and reverse.

And when executed correctly, flow very nice!

Hi, I am sorry I didn't see this message earlier, I'm not too sure why I haven't gotten any notifications for this thread. I also apologize for any issues this has caused you. I believe the person you spoke to was Jason and we have been actively trying to figure out this issue as there was 1 more other time this has happened but that issue was a little bit different and was resolved with a replacement set. May I asked where you bought the lights from? (you can PM me if you would like). I also understand there were some other issues when you initially installed the lights. May I please know what those issues were as well?

Also, for anyone else that has purchased the lights and are having the same issue or any other issue please feel free to PM me here or email CS@winjetinc.com I'll try and be a little more active on this thread
