That's why you get All-Pro Hi-Lift mounts, the one I sold to @taczilla and now they are somewhere in Africa I guess...
I am almost done building bed bars, so for me there are lots of mounting options :D

    wouldn't work lol.
I tried that with the ones I made.

between the treds and hilift it takes up a decent amount of space in the bed.
Once i get my bed rack it will be fine but that's likely next year.

all recovery gear and fuel will be mounted outside

I have the exact same ones. They fit fine under my tonneau. Not sure about storing them on there side, fill it with gas tip them over. If they don't leak you should be good to go. I love my short bed, I use plano storage boxes for my camping stuff, fits perfect.

    i use the same.

Honestly its fine just once I put the treds and hi lift in I lose a lot of space on one side.
Like I said once i have the treds mounted on the bed rack and the hi lift mounted there I'm fine for space. Just until then between the woods roto moulded cooler, and my two plano totes with gear and cooking stuff plus water jugs its a PITA to fit everything.

What's wrong with the inside? Would varsol not work to clean the inside?

@Jake4848 do you have a bed mat as well?
I wonder if thats what's stopping me from closing the cover or is it just certian spots you can fit it.
I have found if I put it in the centre of the 2nd fold I can close it but it has to be in a certain spot and running the same way as the cover to fit in the little channel

I only repainted it on the outside, haven't looked into how to clean on the inside, but will take a look at Varsol!

I have a bed mat. I always store mine as close to the tailgate as possible for easy access. My tonneau is a extang trifecta.

Must be the different covers. I'll have to try again with mine. Only place I found it fit was right in the front but just barely and it has about a 3 inch gap from the front.

Or in the centre in a weird way.
I'll have to experiment a bit more with it. See what I can figure out. Or just get the other Jerry

All that being said though, you wouldn't need to bring gas if you fill up in Parry Sound or somewhere near Ardbeg. Our truck's are pretty good on gas.

True. I might bring it just in case dunno yet. I'm going to try experimenting with different set ups of storing everything. Currently had it with cooler being easily accessed on one side then recovery gear on the other

On another note I'll need to double check with ski tomorrow if my ARB recovery point came in. He sent me an email today saying he thinks it's in but needed to double check. So I'm guessing he just going a decent shipment in. Definitely want to know before making the drive to Mississauga.

If any of you are interested in it let me know I'll be posting a review on the 3rd Gen section once I install it

Personally, I wouldn't worry to much about where your recovery gear is stored until we actually start wheeling. I know that for me, my bed is pretty much empty once I'm actually on the trails. Just have my jerry cans, tool kit, and strap/shackles in the bed when I'm on the trails in Ardbeg.

Word. I'm almost considering leaving the hi lift. Realistically the treds should do fine

All I will say is that I did recovery for the recovery boards.

In my books, the best recovery gear is another truck with a strap. It's simple and usually gets you out fairly quickly. Right @NorilskSever?

Yep, nothing will save you quick enough but another truck! Learned it the hard way.

Sounds good. I was going to get gas tank straps from budbuilt.
