    Well, there are benefits to both. Supercharger is on boost immediately, little to no lag, and it is predictable from a driver's perspective.

    Turbos have a few options. You can run a smaller turbo to get response sooner in the RPM range, or larger for more power but greater lag. Benefits also being that you have power when you want it, not all the time like with a supercharger.

    You need to find a turbo that is a good size for your motor, figure out up and down pipes, fuel and ignition management, monitor AFR and knock if possible, figure out intercooler plumbing. Tune tune tune.
