Yeah the 2nd gen issues far outweigh the 3rd. The 2nd gen owner are all so brainwashed!

Good chance that your catalytic converter may have gotten some excess fuel dumped in it. That's a lot of miles driven. Only time will tell. I would be driving it like a maniac to try and blow it out. The saving grace may be the Atkinson though as it forces some of that air/fuel back into the intake manifold but running that rich for that long of a time, it may not even matter. Maybe pull a plug too to see how it looks just to be safe as well.

Not to worry the OP, but the CPS sensor issue could possibly cause premature wear issues. The CPS basically tells the computer when to fire the spark plugs...... if the plugs are firing too early, it's as the piston is coming up to TDC on the compression stroke burning the fuel and pushing down on the piston before the rod journal arcs over for the power stroke.... this basically beats on the bearings.

Now if that was really going on, drivability would be incredibly bad. You probably didn't have that, but I felt it should be clarified.

I worry about this too - especially from a long-term reliability standpoint. My truck was smelling of sulphur and fuel intermittently for the first 10,000+ miles of ownership and driving terrible, but never threw any codes. I have a few random misfires recorded on most trips that I capture data, but rarely "feel" them... I didn't put nearly the miles OP did on mine but still concerning to drive a new truck with screwed up spark timing for 10,000miles :(

You can check you warranty manual on emissions and I believe you should be covered for up to 80k miles.
That ought to be plenty enough time to see if any damage has occurred and since no mil light or codes were set, it should be ok.

    Best of luck
    Cheers!
