I have a $10 Intex air mattress (twin size) from Walmart. It fits almost perfectly between the wheel wells leaving maybe an inch on either side. The setup works great for me. It may be a tight squeeze though for two people. If trying to fit two, I'd get an Airbedz mattress that goes over the wheel wells.

For me, it was going to be two XL adults and a toddler, and my wife has already overruled it as being too tight. Considering how expensive RTTs are, that pretty much rules out camping on the truck.

You might be able to make the Airbedz work for two fluffy people, but definitely can't squeeze a kid in there. Maybe you could fold the back seat down and let the kid sleep on a small air mattress back there?

Can't you just buy the 2nd gen one and slap it on there?

Would like to sell this before I go to TN next week so I can have some extra spending money on the trip. So am reducing the price just a bit.

Will possibly have to go to Terrell next week to meet up with a member, so can possibly meet there.

    What:
    ARB CKMP12 Portable Air Compressor - http://store.arbusa.com/ARB-Portable-High-Performance-12-Volt-Air-Compressor-CKMP12-P3573C9.aspx
Purchased: 11/21/16 - It has over a year left of the 2 Year Comprehensive warranty through ARB.
Purchased From: Southeast Overland and can provide the receipt for it if necessary for proof of purchase.
Items Included: Brand New Air Hose, Chuck, and small parts bag. What is pictured is what will come with the unit. (You are getting the new ARB Inflation Kit that I purchased for new compressor)
Why: I now have a ARB Compressor mounted in the truck for air and lockers, no need for this unit.
Where: Tyler, TX and I will not travel a long distance to meet up, I will travel to Terrell for the DFW people, and to Palestine for you Southern people.
Shipping: Buyer Pays Shipping, UPS Ground.
PRICE: $280.00 $260.00 (Brand New $352.00 not including Shipping)

I was looking to the near future when calling him a toddler. Right now he's just a crawler, so he won't be ready for that any time soon. Good idea for a few years into the future though.

You could always get a Leer cap and a CVT. Bed in the tent and bed in the bed! Parents up top and kids in the cap or vice versa whichever way you prefer. Win win for everybody

You could also get some 2x6 wood and some sheet plywood and make a platform over the wheel wells. Then you can buy a cheap full size air mattress. Still a tight squeeze, but may be cheaper than buying the Airbedz. The tent has a good height for the roof and I can still sit up without hitting my head.

Bro i feel you! i am ready to get out of this texas summer heat!
I am trying to get a little further than that on the first leg. I am thinking Albuquerque, NM. Get there around 11 - 12 at night, set up the tent, crash, wake up, pack up, hop in the truck, get breakfast, hit the road.

And for my battery, i have a 0 gauge wire for my amps, power for my courtesy lights, power for my switch pros, and something else i cant think of i am pretty sure. There is also the cable from the alternator, and to the ECU and such.

I plan to leave around mid after noon to camp in NM, or i may dip early morning to make the entire 15 hr drive... Could stop in Durango for the night, its only 13 hr, i would just need to find a place to set up the tent.

    Hey i remember this! haha
Go to a pick a pull scrap yard.
    Fucker has my tires!

Also thought about painting the face of my wheels like this, but they would be white and not silver.

I feel like i have seen this truck in person...

Also, I am glad I am not the only one that ziptied the spare tire chain up and then didn't cut the excess zip tie...
