Hey all - Quick clarification question too! (3rd Gen)

Hey everyone! Just about to purchase a new Tacoma up in Maine and I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Have one thing stopping me and that is the "Auto Headlight" feature in the Premium Tech package of the 3rd Gens.

My 2007 Camry has it where I have DRL set to Auto and it will engage the Headlights when it becomes dark.

Is that what this "Auto Headlight" feature is in the Tacoma? Can't imagine that wouldn't be standard..?

Was hoping maybe for some clarification on how that exactly works. Thanks!! Look forward to continue posting and reading and modding!

 

Welcome! Cant answer about the 3rd gens but my 2nd gen I leave the headlights on always they automatically turn off when I turn the engine off and open the door.

Welcome to TW and yes that is exactly what auto headlights mean. My dad's old Lexus LS400 has it and so does my foreman new 3rd gen Tacoma, it's the same feature
