Ordered the rack on Wednesday, estimated ship date is 9/29, I got the black anodized cross bars with the bare aluminum wind deflector and side bars. Now it's just a waiting game.

Is it worth paying for the powdercoat, or do most people paint the rack themselves?

I opted for mine to come without as I wanted to smooth out the sharp edges to prevent nylon straps from sawing apart. Got it all powderxoated locally after.

Well...I didn't get the wind deflector with the 30" cut out I paid for but I did get a bunch of excess hardware.

More than likely its for the wind deflector. The flat nut plates go in the groove of the front bar to hold the deflector on. The screws go through the deflector with metal deflector in between.

I had extras of almost everything. It's almost like they think we might loose a screw or two

I actually did loose a screw when I was putting mine on so I was thankful for the extras. Wish more companies were like this and threw in a few extra screws to account for the damn screw gremlins that can make a screw vanish that you just put down a moment before.

Better off than I was, wrong wind fairing AND missing hardware.
Quick to right his wrong by sending me the right fairing along with more hardware AND another fairing.. lol

In my garage I have a 40" cut fairing and a 30".. holding onto the 40" if I ever get a lightbar.

I hate to be that guy because I'm fairly certain I've read it in this thread somewhere ... can't seem to find it. Does anyone know where I can buy the roof molding? I'm planning on selling/trading my truck soon. Thanks!

I received my Cabrac today. I put the rack together in my living room. Easy peasy. I love it! Only thing is, I only received 8 roof spacers and bolts. The rack has slots for 10. I emailed CBI to send me two more. I'm stoked to get this thing on the cab!

Yeeaah but if I remember correctly they were priced outrageously high from the dealerships. I thought someone had chimed in on an alternative source but now I can't find it.

    EDIT: Found it Post #6383
