Beefed up the bed rack today. After 10,000 rough miles and over 20 nights spent in the rtt the upper welds were staring to crack on a couple corners. So the solution was to add a simple gusset on the outside of each corner

Do you still have the tail gate pad you are looking to get rid of?

So on the rubicon a few weeks back I caught a rock between the slider and tire. It got the front fender and door pretty good. So today I went ahead and removed the fender, beat the fender straight with a hammer and then washed the truck for the first time since May. Tomorrow I'm going to rotate the tires and do some routine monthly maintenance to get it ready to run a trail down in so cal this weekend

I'll get some color match paint on the way home from work tomorrow and touch up the door

Thanks man. I wanted a white taco but my wife hates white so I told the broker whatever color she could find except for white. The black is a pita to keep clean and shows every little scratch which is why I hardly wash the truck. I do like how it looks when cleaned and waxed though.

Used the annex for the first time this past weekend. We have spent over 22 nights in the tent since we got it in April and just used the annex for the first time. Unsure why we waited so long love the annex. Will definitely be using it more on upcoming trips. Also finally got around to ordering a trasharoo. Been wanting one for a while but just kept forgetting to order one. We glamped on the coast this weekend and had wifi so I was able to order from camp.

Been a while here are some updates. Finally got around to buying some quality wheels after destroying my stock wheels wheeling. Picked up some SCS wheels

    F8B2AC4E-529F-4DA3-A098-E2527EDC19CB.jpg

Also the tent was too much weight on the bed for the wheeling and desert trips. Also didn’t like having to break down camp everyday when destination camping in locations like Moab.

So got around to getting an off-road trailer. Had a guy build the base and then I took it from there. Still some work to do but it’s been great so far. Planning on adding on board water/ a shower/ and few other misc items

Can still open the trailer with tent fully set up which is nice for easy access. Or I can open the swing out tire carrier and access via the rear hatch

That is a sweet trailer!!! I ditched my bed RTT and I think this is the route I want to go. Hook up and go when camping, the rest of the 99% I’m not... have a tent free, open bed!

Made my way to the tepui garage sale and we moved into a new Autana xl. The added room is awesome over our (3). I also got a light kit for the tent and a shoe rack.

A lot of new features as well on the new one. I like the sky panels, zipper around the canopy, and really like the gray cover. Should help a ton with heat deflection vs the black. Can’t wait to sleep in it this weekend. It added 16” over our previous tent but it feels like 4 feet!

Also got around to getting power set up for the trailer. Still need to tidy it up and add solar but this will get us through the end of the year for camp trips.

Added a cig lighter on the exterior for the tent lighting. I should be able to run the tent lighting on a full charge for 17 hours before hitting 60% on the battery and needing to recharge. 17 hours is obviously more than enough. Main thing we needed power for is tent lighting, charging phones, and the water pump which is still in the works. I have the pump and tank just need to get them mounted and plumbed E3AE5E9A-0914-4518-B79D-999B176DF089.jpg

Well the needle bearing seems to be failing and since I need to tear everything apart to get to it I went ahead and ordered new gears from east coast free supply. They should be here late September. Also since I’m gonna have the front end apart finally made the leap and bought some lower control arms. Can’t wait to get these mounted and the build moving forward again. I won’t be putting secondary’s on just yet but hopefully next year sometime I’ll have a dual shock set up on the front 7B53F8A2-80E0-4171-8F78-44398AC79AAF.jpg

East coast gear supply called today and let me know gears are in the mail! Should be here the 25th. Won’t be able to start the install until the 6th of October but that’s okay. Super stoked. Also found a local reputable suspension shop to freshen up my kings while I have the truck torn apart
