Anyone try these Redline Tuning EZ-DOWN

Was looking at redlinetuning.com and came across this http://www.redlinetuning.com/products_ezdown.html and was wondering if anyone has tried it. I have the redline tuning shocks for the hood and love them. I might give this a shot as have dropped the tailgate a time or two. Might question them on a group buy if enough people are interested.

 

I've heard a few people on toyotanation have fitment issues with them. Might want to do a search over there about them too. Some worked perfectly, some had the cable bind up and cause problems, others seemed to have issues with the bolts not fitting right.

Got some good info over on toyota nation after a search. Wonder if Redline fixed the problems people were encountering.

 

i have the hood struts also work fine The ez down for the tailgate
does not work had it on mine
