Not sure why he went for the moving target though (aside from story reasons that is) -_-

 

Could have been closer to him, relatively speaking. Vyserion was flying a racetrack, so all the night king had to do was wait until it came within easy spear range.

Sorry to say it, but it's the dragon's fault. Got a little too comfy on top of the food chain, and now he's on top of the anti-food chain.

 

Either A) he wanted to show them what he was capable of or B) he wanted Jon pissed off, but not too pissed off.

Holy Crap.... In one week? I thought I was stout watching all but the last season of Breaking Bad (4 seasons) in a two week period.
But 7 seasons in one week!!

 

I binged breaking bad too, it was awesome.

 

Yes, it was. I just finished watching Sons of Anarchy for the 2nd time this past weekend. Watched it originally as it came out weekly.
Soooo good me and the wife had to watch it again.

True - but unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you see it) the audience doesn't really have attachment to any dragon aside from Drogon as they don't get any screen time. Would have made more of a "classic penultimate episode" imo if the Night King got Drogon.

All in all I was happy with how things turned out in the episode, but wasn't thrilled with how they came about

 

I just want to know why the hell they didn't take any arrows made of dragonglass. I mean you just found a mountain of the shit. Coulda popped that Bitch right in his pointy head.

 

They probably don't have it weaponized yet. I'd think he came to mine it and take it back to Winterfell to be forged

 

They were using it during the fight. Jorah's daggers and Tormund's axe were dragon glass.

I think the dragon glass they had was just for the trip beyond the wall. Not for all out war. Making arrow heads will happen later I imagine. Plus arrows are useless in CQC unless you are Legolas and even he had daggers.
