In 7 years I'll have one year left to retire. I hope I make it that far.

    Good Morning everyone.

    :hattip: Kevin

Yep, mine ended about 2AM this morning ... but everything is processed and packaged. We ended up in the neighborhood of 350 pounds of meat ... we don't weight all the steaks, roasts, and stew meat ... that figure is rough, probably +/- 20 lbs. A really nice harvest none the less.

I will have been retired for a year, provided all goes well. Yeah I often wonder if I will make it that far too. But my main goal is to have as many days on the other side of retirement as possible. Hopefully in good health with the ability to enjoy them. Not so sure that is going to happen either. So one day at a time.

If I can avoid any serious health issues, I'm hoping to play this current gig out for another 15 years to 67yo...as long as I can live here in Alaska and do the things I enjoy outside of the job.
    :fingerscrossed: I get that long.

How else are you going to get 140k lbs up over that hill ?? . That Detroit sounded sweet with the loud pedal pegged to the floor . Did you see the Heat coming out of the stacks , I bet his EGT was near max !!!

It's in the weight /exercise room at my new place not sure of the model but its similar to what I've ridden at my old place or at the VA's PT facility

Why not just get a stationary recumbent bike like I mentioned ??

I can't ride a normal bike anymore as both my knees are trashed from the military and my R/knee being the worst after going thru multiple knee replacement surgeries and revisions

thats not out of the question, but right now i am looking to get my ass out of the house to ride, as well as my daughter. if we can both ride she'll benefit too,

I've got back issues that actual leg exercise will help with. and i need something low impact as well

if i'm going to spend $$$ i may as well do it on something i'm more likely to use.
