Yep manual. I hope to get some miles on it today or tomorrow. If not I'm driving from Idaho to Alaska starting Thursday so will be a good test.

Okay I have two people who I will send the shift learn disable maps to and have them report back after the learning completes.
    (Glenn, Lwood)

We have a truck lined up for this Thursday. It's going to be an auto, this will be dedicated to 1.02 and additional shifting development and some other things.

For everyone who pm'd offering their trucks thank you I appreciate it, wish I could do them all. I decided I need to get another AT on the dyno, it needs a little extra work.

Oh I forgot to mention we have a copy of the 2018 Camry v6 ECU, so we will know this week what gives it that "301" HP rating.

I used to not care about the power of this truck, on stock tires....
Now that I have 285/75r16 MT tires, I need more power. :benchpress:

you may have already gotten an answer.... I'd recommend both the tune and regear to 4.88s. I have both (well 4.56s, but wish I went with 4.88s now) and so far I'm pretty satisfied with the driving. I'm fairly modded so have plenty of extra weight sitting on it. DM if you want

@OVTune Mat will this be the 1.02 without learning? How long will you want @Lwood and I to run it before reporting back? Also will we be provided logging?

    Thanks Glenn

I'm not sure yet if I want to make the non-learn a standard thing. So far it's a mixed bag on people requesting it be disabled. No logging needed on it.

Would like to know what is being learned that causes the transmission to hunt more after the learning period. I have cleared the ECU many times to check this. It will hold 4 gear longer after a clearing cycle than after a learning period.

Can you make the 2018 Camry tune available for us to put on our Tacomas? Sad that they tuned the same engine better for a family sedan.

We could, but not really sure the point. Our tune is still better.
