    Too bad your vacation time is limited; the best parts of the state are past Lewiston. Many hours past Lewiston, some of them.

    It is a BIG state. Although not heading up to the coast is a miss for sure. The Bath area is nice too and that's just past Freeport correct?

    Western lakes and mountains are pretty sweet, no argument here. If employment was easier to come by I'd still be living in that area. And if the GF didn't work in Portland...

    But, once you get past Ellsworth the coast is pretty cool too. Most of the tourists never make it past Bar Harbor, seems like.

    I don't think the Charter Oak place here in town has a taproom... found them on Twitter, since their FB page didn't say much, and says they are opening in early 2018 with taproom. :annoyed:
