Ordered up some Cali Raised LED side projecting pods the other and they finally came. Super stoked with how it turned out. Very easy to mount and wire, and the light given off is insane! I went with the OEM Ditch switch as well and it fits the stock space to the left of the steering wheel. It looks stock, super clean.

Currently installing this same set up.. stuck on installing the Ditch light switch because the wires on the switch do not match up with the wiring kit. Which colors did you cross connect?

Thank you! but these instructions do not go with the wire harness provided in my set up by you guys @CaliRaisedLed.

My wire harness came with a red/blue, yellow/blue, and green/ yellow.
    The switch has a black, orange/red, red/yellow, Green/yellow

I have only one wire that has a single solid color (Black/Ground)

I do not have a white wire at all.

I tried the connect per the second instructions sent over and the switch does not receive power at all. The "ditch light" wording and the Pod emblem does not light up and pods do not turn on.

The stock switch works with the wire harness.

I've been able to get the switch to light to illuminate where it reads "ditch light" by its self, and I've also been able to get both the "ditch light" and "pod emblem" to light up by touching the extra red cable to the ground but I have not had luck getting the pods to turn on by this switch with any combination of set up.

How should I trouble shoot the switch receiving power but the pods not getting any power? @CaliRaisedLed

I tried both of these combos... both made the switch illuminate, neither made the pods turn on/off. @CaliRaisedLed

    Switch- Both reds to Red/Blue
    Black to Yellow/green
    Green/yellow to Black

    Switch- Black to Black
    Both Red to Red/blue
    Green to Yellow/blue

    @

So when I wired mine this is what I did that worked.

    I ran:

Red/blue wire (from wiring kit) -> Green switch wire
Green/yellow (from wiring kit) -> black switch wire (both those wires are grounds)
Yellow (from wiring kit) -> Both red wires on switch

    hope this helps!

@riverrat12 thank you! I had no luck with that combination, could not get the switch to illuminate or the pods to turn on.

the only time the switch illuminates is when the two red wires is connected to either the red/blue or green/yellow. Pods do not turn on unless I have the on/off from the original wiring harness.

Is there any glare off of the hood?? I wanted to try the same thing but I was worried about the glare.

not if you position the lights so that they point level/updward and outward. Mine gets slight glare right above the fender on the the driver's and passenger sides, but that's because I point the lights straight ahead (for now until I install the bumper light bar, which will be soon).
