    Seriously...

I get off the interstate at the Phillips lane ramp. That's the main entrance to the fairgrounds. @ 5AM, there's a line of cars backed up and partially blocking Phillips Lane. At that time of the morning, I'm in no mood to deal with ANYTHING out of the ordinary.

    Cranky old man syndrome....

Buying a house is almost like having a family...If you wait until you're ready, until EVERYTHING is perfect, you'll never EVER do it. Sometimes you just close your eyes and jump off the cliff. Look at the OTHER end of the term of a home loan. How old will you be when it's paid off? With 25 and 30 year loans being the norm, do you want to be past retirement age and still be paying house payments? (Answer to that is a BIG NO!)

It'll never be "easy". But it's worth all the trouble.

Man, I see so many good looking trucks in Huntington. Not just Tacoma's either, some T4r and FJ. See a few in Ashland also, but less than where I work.
Guess I need to just follow them places

[IMG]belt started to make a winding noise this morning and has worsened to now driving since its gotten wet. Waste my money on some spray to see if it quits or look to replace it if it keeps it up. Truck just hit 125K miles on it

Then definitely replace it. Check pulleys while you do it, the ones you can spin, feel for grit or anything but a smooth rotation. Check the grooves. Look at the grooves on the belt too, it can tell you a lot

Haven't got a chance to pull off the belt but now it's just knocking at first start up for about 10 seconds. Like a rattling noise. How many screwdrivers did I drop in my fan at RRG again ? Lol

Idk what it is. Sounds like it's coming from the alternator side. Guess I'm going to have to wait until the engine cools down and yank her off to see if the belt has some spots or the bearings in a pully are bad.

We retrieved my screwdriver at RRG. What you did at LBL is on you man!

You could have a tensioner pulley going bad

Yeah i changed it. I meant RRG lol. That could be it too. Going to try to let it cool off and tear it apart before dark. Hopefully I can find out my problem.

Replace the belt, and the pulley if it's not too expensive. Won't hurt anything to do it early
