@Tacoma1192 @DTaCo Thanks for helping me find my steering problem. Ordered some energy suspension bushings yesterday. Should be a easy swap out.

ATTENTION: Jacoby canyon is closed along with a portion of 3N16 until June 2018 due to some wildfire that happened in the beginning of this summer.

I can't tell if I hurt even more today or if it was worse yesterday...or if I'm just finding pain in new places. And we broke the hike up over 3 days, there were crazy motherfuckers doing it all in one day; starting at 2am and getting back to their cars 12 hours later. Insane

Yeah going down was the hardest for me. Honestly going up wasn't so bad, don't get me wrong it was exhausting but going down was downright painful. Probably because going up took so much out of me lol.

I witnessed one 'casualty' on the trek...towards the summit right where the John Muir trail meets the Mt. Whitney summit trail (at about 13k feet), I came across a guy being tended to by a park ranger for what I assumed was severe altitude sickness. The poor dude had been in the spot for 12 hours (overnight) before help arrived, when I got to him he looked unconscious and like he was having a severe seizure; was convulsing and making all sorts of unintelligible sounds, it was awful. The ranger was using a satellite phone to radio coordinates in to a helicopter. I kept on my way as I didn't want to get in the way of the rescue, there was very little space on the trail. About 20 min later I see a helicopter fly by and drop a package down to them, apparently they can't hover at that altitude so it dropped the package and then landed in a valley a few thousand feet below. About that time my dad had made his way to that spot and said that they put him in a portable pressure chamber (he got a pic of it) and then hiked him down to the valley where the helicopter was waiting. Pretty gnarly stuff, no idea if the guy made it. He was in bad shape.

haha, I was a little worried myself but I brought along some nicotine gum 'cause I didn't want to take any chances with my blood pressure being off from going cold turkey. My dad was adamant about taking this stuff called Diamox that his doctor prescribed him for the trip and he swears that's what kept us from getting sick. There were one or two points where I felt dizzy and slight headaches but they passed. Mostly the hardest part was running out of breath every time there was even the slightest incline; the air being so thin you really had to focus on your breathing.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Never mind, found ya'll! :D
